How to Choose Refurbished Audio

1. Pick the right style: Earbuds are the most portable, over-ear headphones usually offer the most comfort and noise cancellation, and open-ear headphones keep you aware of your surroundings.
2. Check compatibility: Most Bluetooth audio works with any phone, but some features such as automatic device switching or spatial audio only work with the same brand. Check the specifications for your device.
3. Choose the condition: As New listings look unused, while Excellent and Good grades may show light cosmetic marks for a lower price.
4. Check what is included: Cables, ear tips and packaging can differ from new. The product description shows what is in the box.

Refurbished Audio FAQs

Are refurbished earbuds hygienic?

Pre-owned and returned audio products are inspected and graded before sale. If replacement ear tips are included, this is shown in the product description.

What does Certified Refurbished mean?

Certified refurbished products have been restored and checked by the manufacturer or an authorised partner. These listings are marked Certified Refur in the product title.

Do refurbished headphones come with a warranty?

Yes. The warranty period depends on the product and its condition, and it is shown on each product page.

Will the battery be as good as new?

Battery life on a pre-owned product can be lower than on a new unit. Open box items graded As New are usually closest to new. Check the product description for details.

What is the difference between open box and refurbished?

Open box items have usually been opened, returned or had damaged packaging and are often As New. Refurbished items are pre-owned products that have been inspected and graded.
