Refurbished Monitors

A Bigger, Better Screen for Less

A refurbished or open box monitor is an easy way to upgrade a home office or gaming setup without paying the brand-new price. Most of the range is graded As New, with some pre-owned monitors graded Excellent. Condition, size and model details are shown in each product title, and the warranty period is shown on each product page.

Features to Compare

• Screen size and shape: Sizes range from 15.6-inch portable monitors to 24 and 27-inch desktop screens and 34 to 38.5-inch curved ultrawide models.
• Resolution: Full HD (1920 x 1080) suits everyday use on 24-inch screens, while WQHD and UWQHD give sharper text and more workspace on larger monitors.
• Refresh rate and response time: Refresh rates range from 100Hz on everyday models up to 180Hz on Acer Nitro gaming monitors, many with FreeSync or Adaptive Sync to reduce tearing.
• Panel type: IPS panels offer wide viewing angles and consistent colour, VA panels offer strong contrast, and Mini LED models add higher brightness.
• Connections and ergonomics: Check the ports you need, such as HDMI, DisplayPort or USB-C, and whether the stand adjusts for height and tilt.

How to Choose

1. Decide how you will use it: Choose a Full HD or WQHD monitor for office work and study, a high refresh rate model for gaming, or an ultrawide for multitasking.
2. Check your space and ports: Measure your desk, and confirm your computer or console has a matching output.
3. Compare condition and price: As New listings look unused, while Excellent grades may show light marks for extra savings.

Refurbished Monitor FAQs

What does As New mean for a monitor?

As New monitors are usually open box or customer returns with no visible signs of use. See the grading guide on the Refurb & Open Box page for full definitions.

Do refurbished monitors come with a warranty?

Yes. The warranty period depends on the product and its condition, and it is shown on each product page.

Are cables and the stand included?

Most listings include the stand and a power cable, but included accessories can differ from new. Check the product description to see what is in the box.

Is a high refresh rate monitor worth it?

For gaming, a 144Hz to 180Hz monitor gives smoother motion than a standard 60Hz or 75Hz screen. For office work, resolution and screen size usually matter more.
